We stayed in Rovinj for 6 nights. We ate breakfast 3 mornings at Snack Bar Rio. The word snack bar really doesn’t do it justice. Even though we only ate breakfast there, we did eat dinner at the other restaurants owned by the same person. Gianinno and Puntulina. Exceptional food and service at all. But the star for service of all places we ate in Rovinj was Manuela at Rio who always welcomed us with a bright and sunny smile. She was a pleasure. We would return for lunch and dinner if staying longer.

We enjoyed a wonderful sunset with spectacular views across the harbor. The fish and pasta dishes were particularly delicious and the service friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Tuna Tagliata and sea bream with truffles were absolutely delicious. The restaurant is rather on the pricey side, but the food was worth it. Better book a table in advance in order to sit outside, we were seated right next to the sea which was lovely I did not like the atmosphere inside/ in the winter garden but would come back for a nice dinner by the sea

Food is wild. So delicious. Fresh oysters. Tuna tartare was also amazing. The staffs are so friendly. Definitely recommend this place many times over.

Great and fast service, excellent olive oil, food was amazing too. Portions were very generous and there was plenty of protein in the meals (tuna pasta for example, I was surprised with the amount of tuna with the meal). They’re serving Franz Arman wine which was excellent!

Lovely restaurant and great view. Very quiet at the time of day but that made it even more pleasant. Staff lovely and welcoming. Good food and taste, wine on the high side but still tasty and fresh. Good suggestion from the Sunday times.

Fantastic food right by the port. We sat outside. Super friendly waiter that spoke a multitude of languages from Italian, Croatian, English some German and Hungarian. Lovely and friendly service and yet professional. Food was fantastic and super tasty, we ordered 2 starters and 2 second courses, coffees, one dessert, 2x waters and a freshly squeezed orange juice. Total was €116. It is pricey but fairly standard for Rovinj, you get a great view, great service and lovely food. And if you’re on holiday just treat yourself and come here
